This was based on a conversation we had at a bar one night. Hence why we are holding drinks. Or perhaps I just want to be holding a drink. I'm going to draw us holding drinks, and that is that. There's nothing you can do to stop me.
So, we were talking about occupations and how she was taking all these extra classes to enhance her skills, but has been avoiding a certain class due to the dissection requirements. Now if you know me at all, you know that killing animals has definitely not been an absence from my life (I can follow this up with a recent story about a rooster named Pepper. Hint: the story isn't very long and it doesn't end well. Well not for the rooster at least.)
Anyhow, I think this illustration exemplifies my case. =)

Let's Get Married

A piece a made for my college roommate Hyojin, who is Korean. She had her bridal shower on saturday, and I wanted to make something for her.
The bear concept is based on the popular Korean Manhwa/Drama, "Goong". The outfits are based on Nakyoung and Steve's Wedding where they wore traditional Korean HanBok. It was really beautiful. I plan on making a copy for them as well, but I'd like to refine this piece a little more.

Been doing some figure drawing after work. I'm not by all means a really good artist at all. I'm not that great with still life. But, I am practicing and figured this would be a good way to brush up on my skills and force me to draw more. My sketches are usually suuuper messy and lots of lines, but I'm trying a different style this week.

A piece I did for someone's gift in 2007. Revamped with some cleanup, contrast and wooden floor. He was a musician and dreamt about being on tour with a band. He played all these instruments. Each kitty represents that type of genre he played. And oldie, but a goodie. We had on going jokes about kitties. =) And well, aren't kitties awesome?

So, with their 11th version of Tiger, EA decided to do a First Person view of you playing. Why? Perhaps so you can now look down and see your ball...?
I think all they need to do is add in extra achievements like unlocking trophy wives. =)

Can I haz bun?

It's a friend's birthday coming up, and I thought I'd make her a 3 part pastry bun display. Here's part 1. I've been wanting to do a little pastry line of honeybuns. Hehe. I actually did this as a quickly in photoshop while I was watching the deep end. It's interesting enough to listen to and watch in the background. Anyway this was fun to doodle. No sketching, just straight up in PS.

Ninja wut?! Ninja Bebe!

I'm going going, back to back, to retro...

Not a BunnyBe Original, buuuut I was talking to a design friend today and it got my creative juices flowing. This is an old triptych design I did quite a few years back but I loved this piece so much I wanted to revamp it. ^_^

It was a wonderful 3 day weekend! We even got in some Ice Skating! ^_^ I finished Bayonetta, and picked up Ninja Gaiden II to compare. I forgot how hard NG is >_<. Next I'll also be checking out Assassin's Creed II. With all my heart, I absolutely recommend all Bayonetta. It gets a 9.5 from me. The UI is slightly confusing and sometimes unintuitive. The game play was just amazingly fun and satisfying. The animation is so fluid and well done. You won't be disappointed!! When I get around to it, I really hope I'll be able to post some fan art of Bayonetta soon. ^_^

This weekend was my cousin's baby shower. I haven't played pong for a while ever since they took it away from us at work ;T_T;
Anyway, they had a pong table, I played some MJ (yeah, I know.. the most fobbiest day), ate lots, looked at cute baby and went home to play Bayonetta. I finished chap 10-14 and I'm up against the Luman Sage chick. This is probably one of the hardest Bosses. =\
